Safeguarding Policy

Teaching4All — Safeguarding Policy

Teaching4All believes every student has the right to learn in a safe environment. This policy explains how we protect the children and young people we work with.

1. Purpose

1.1 This policy sets out how Teaching4All identifies, prevents, and responds to safeguarding concerns. It applies to our founder, our tutors, and anyone representing Teaching4All.

2. Our Approach

2.1 Teaching4All is a small, fixed team — not an open marketplace — so every tutor is personally selected and known to our founder before working with students.

2.2 Our founder holds certified training in Online Child Protection in Educational Settings, recognized by international schools as comparable to the UK's enhanced DBS standard.

2.3 All sessions are conducted on professional video-call platforms, never through unsupervised personal channels.

3. Tutor Responsibilities

3.1 Maintain a professional relationship with students at all times, and respect their privacy and dignity.

3.2 Keep all teaching content focused on academic improvement and exam preparation.

3.3 Never request personal contact details outside agreed communication channels, and never meet a student outside of Teaching4All-arranged sessions.

3.4 Disclose to Teaching4All any conviction, investigation, or circumstance that could affect their suitability to work with minors.

3.5 End a session and report immediately if a student appears distressed, at risk, or discloses something concerning.

4. How to Report a Concern

4.1 If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

4.2 Otherwise, report any concern as soon as possible to support@teaching4all.com, including what you noticed, when, and who was involved.

4.3 We will acknowledge any report and treat it confidentially, sharing details only with those who need to know to keep the student safe.

5. Parents and Guardians

5.1 You're welcome to ask about a tutor's background or our vetting process at any time.

5.2 Please ensure your child has appropriate supervision around their device during online sessions, as you would for any online learning activity.

6. Review

6.1 We review this policy regularly and update it as our practice grows.
